You may (or may not!) know that in August 2016, I officially launched Infinite Moon Communications. This came after months (okay, years!) of visioning, creating, and getting clear on what I wanted to do and who I wanted to do that with. It also included building a visual brand (logo, website, and all that jazz) and most importantly, building COURAGE. When I struck out on my own, I had one client, no savings, and my mortgage was due. Despite all of my best efforts to "do it all", i.e. keep the full-time job and commit to building my business at the same time, I couldn't. So, eventually I chose to let go (of the full-time job, i.e. perceived control!), leap and find out what would happen. There were no guarantees. But my heart yearned for more than the familiar ground I had been walking on and I decided to trust that, trust me, make the jump and find out.
And jump I did!
Since that time, I've had the good fortune of working on many different projects and learning SO much. About the work, but mostly, about myself. I've met incredible people doing wonderful things who've inspired me, taught me, pushed me, and most definitely challenged me. In this time, Infinite Moon has taken me all over the West to beautiful places through ice storms, deserts, lush green valleys, over high-mountain passes, along rivers, to quaint ranching towns and to the city. It's been life-changing and I am eternally grateful.
But what really stands out is the people. Especially the women.
It's the people I've enjoyed getting to know, connect and work with - and many of them have been women. I've had the honor of being welcomed into women's homes, lives and communities. I've been sitting with them in their offices, in their kitchens, cars, in restaurants, at their board room tables, you name it! What all of this has re-affirmed for me is that women see the world through a different lens and, in turn, we do things differently. This is reflected in the types of businesses we start, or are often a part of, the products and services we offer, and how we lead and manage - how we LIVE. It's just so darn beautiful.
I've long known that working with and connecting with women is my joy. It is where I thrive. Over the years, I've spent a considerable amount of time in women's groups, diving deeper into relationship with my Sister's, and learning from other women. I love it. In fact, my original vision for Infinite Moon was to work just with women in business, but one I wasn't ready to fully commit to when I first launched. Call it doubt, fear, not-the-right-time, all-of-the-above! And all perfect.
Today, as we near the day where we celebrate our hearts (that'd be Valentine's Day!), I'd like to share that Infinite Moon offers business development, communications, fundraising, marketing and outreach services to WOMEN. It doesn’t matter what you do, what industry you are in, the organization you work for, the service you offer, or the product you lovingly create, if you are a woman and excited and ready to take your business, or project, to the next level, Infinite Moon is here for YOU.
No project is too big or too small. I've worked with all sorts of women doing amazing things over the years, from a woman in Oakland who started a neighborhood grassroots movement to build Victory Gardens throughout her community, to a cat-lover in Vermont who loves birds even more, who designed the most amazing life-saving collars. I've worked with women engineers, doctors, conservationists, herbalists, spiritual mentors, CEO's, yoginis, executive directors, mamas (my mom!), dog trainers, massage therapists, designers, board of directors, community groups and so many more. These last years I've been steeped in private land conservation and Colorado water issues and all along the way, my heart has always belonged to the animals.
You can read more about me, the services Infinite Moon offers and how it all works by popping over to my website.
But before you zip along, may I ask you that favor?
Do you know of a woman in business who is looking for some savvy and über experienced communications support who might enjoy a fellow cohort to walk with her along the way? Would you be available to forward her this email or a link to my website? Or, keep Infinite Moon in mind for the future? Better yet, perhaps it is YOU! Would you like to learn more or invest in your business or project in this way? That would be AMAZING. Either way, your support in helping to spread the word about Infinite Moon would be deeply appreciated!
Thank you for reading this and for sharing in some of the journey with me. I'm excited (and nervous all in one!) and in the mystery of where it will all lead. Meanwhile, I'll keep you posted, if you'd like. Do let me know. . .
Wishing you a beautiful day.
With love and appreciation~
